Port Byron’s after school program begins Nov. 6

An after-school program that gives Port Byron Central School District students a chance to participate in educational, recreational, social and cultural activities will again be offered this year.

Divided into three sessions, the program, which is free to attend and open to students in grades three through six, will be offered 3:20-5:10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Nov. 6 through April 13. Special events will be held on Fridays, and participants will have the chance to attend two Friday events for each session they attend.

A daily snack will be provided and late bus transportation (5:10 p.m. departure) is available.

Participation in the program is limited and enrollment is based on a “first come, first served” registration process. Students may sign up for one, two or all three program sessions. More information about the sessions, including special Friday events, will be provided to all participating families after registration closes on Oct. 23.
