Class of 2018 Senior Spotlight: Connor Hermann

Port Byron Central School District senior Connor Hermann has Carolina on his mind.

This fall, Connor will continue his education at SUNY Brockport where he plans to study computer science. The Throop resident hopes to eventually settle in North Carolina.

During his time at Dana L. West Junior/Senior High School, Connor participated in the football, basketball, baseball and golf programs. His favorite school memory is winning the football league championship during his junior year.

Looking back, he said his favorite class was Global History and his biggest challenges include “junior year as a whole” and waking up at 6:30 a.m. every day. If he could experience high school all over again, he said he might try to study a little bit more.

This summer, he plans to spend time with his friends and travel to North Carolina for vacation.

Connor is the son of Michael and Megan Hermann.

Port Byron CSD is pleased to announce the return of “Senior Spotlight.” This weekly website series highlights the accomplishments and future plans of several graduating Dana L. West Junior/Senior High School students. They were selected for the series by school administrators based on their demonstration of excellence in the classroom and community.
